Today, Sunday, November 26, 2017, marks the fourth day of a hiatus from candidate filings in Adair County, with the office of Adair County Clerk Lisa Lee closed since Wednesday, November 22, 2017, for the Thanksgiving Holidays. Candidate filings are eligible to resume in the Morning, Monday, November 27, 2017, at 8amCT.

Two additional candidates for the 2018 Election filed Wednesday, November 22, 2017 in the office of Adair County Clerk Lisa Greer. They are:
- Michael Lee Stephens*, D, incumbent, County Judge Executive,filed for re-election to the office

- Ken Hill R, filed for the office of Property Valuation Administrator (PVA).

Ken Hill filed for the Republican nomination for Adair County Property Valuation Administrator (PVA), today, Wednesday, November 22, 2017. With him, above, are Vickie Hill, Jake Hill, and Bro. Brian Fudge and his daughter, Natalie, and son, Jacob. Hill is the second candidate, and the first Republican, to file for the office.
