Betsy Trotter, 74, of Columbia, died Thursday, November 23, 2017 at TJ Health/Columbia Emergency Room.

The funeral service for Betsy Trotter will be Monday, November 27, 2017 at 1pmCT at Grissom-Martin Funeral Home, 200 Campbellsville Street, Columbia, KY, with Pastor Tom Legg officiating. Burial will be in Haven Hill Cemetery, 1276 Liberty Road, Columbia, KY. Visitation will be held 5pm-8pmCT Sunday, November 26, 2017, at the funeral home.

She was born October 10, 1943, in Adair County, KY. She was the daughter of the late Roach & Mary Magdalene Wilson Jessie. She died Thursday, November 23, 2017, in Columbia, Adair County, KY, at the age of 74 years, one months, and 13 days. She was a member of Columbia First Church of the Nazarene.

Survivors include:
  • One son: Allen Trotter of Columbia, KY

  • Two daughters: Dina Carver of Covington, TN, and Leigh Trotter of Atoka, TN

  • One brother: Glenn Jessie of Chicago, IL

  • One sister: Elsie Baker of Columbia, KY

  • Five Grandchildren

  • Three great-grandchildren
