The Adair County Fiscal Court unanimously gave its approval Tuesday night for CJE Michael L. Stephens to sign insurance forms for to receive KACO's payment for a totalled sheriff's cruiser.



The court voted to accept the option of $2,036 and keep the vehicle, which has some salvageable parts, and which, at this time is not paying a $50/day storage fee. The court voted to have the money earmarked for the sheriff's vehicle fund. The action was taken in the Tuesday evening, November 14, 2017 regular meeting of fiscal court.

The vehicle is a 2008 Ford Crown Victoria, lost in a collision on October 26, 2017.
