She was a native of Cincinnati, Ohio, and a resident of Russell Springs, KY,at the time of her death. Her final resting place will be in Mill Springs Cemetery. Her husband, Edward K. Wade, survives. She was a member of a large, widely respected family. She died Wednesday, November 1, 2017, in Russell Springs, Russell County, KY at the age of 92 years, two days. Elaine was a homemaker and a member of Mt. Eden Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Billy Don Wade; and two brothers, Joy Harris and Zen Harris. Survivors include her husband: Edward K. Wade, Russell Springs, KY and the following:
