Jody Cash, Public Information Officer KSP Post 1, Mayfield, KY MAYFIELD, KY (11 Oct 2017) - Kentucky State Police Post 1 welcomes Captain Daniel White as the new Post Commander. Captain White is a native of Hardyville and currently resides in Cub Run, Kentucky. He is a 2003 graduate of the Kentucky State Police Academy. Captain White was promoted to the rank of Captain on September 1, 2017 and was assigned to Post 12 (Frankfort). On October 1, 2017, the previous Post Commander, Janet Barnett, was promoted to the rank of Major and reassigned to the Technical Services Division in Frankfort.
