Frances McVay Russell Sprowles, Taylor Co., KY (1928-2017) She professed faith in Christ and was a member of First United Methodist Church. Frances was a people person and enjoyed attending church programs with family and friends. After moving to Bluegrass Way, she was eagerly involved in the many activities offered, especially the morning devotionals, bingo and rook. When she was able, she enjoyed feeding the birds and working in her flowers and had always had a green thumb. She was an avid UK fan and wouldn't miss a game on TV; she even dressed up for them. She also enjoyed traveling with her husband of thirty-one years, George, and family. After his death, she looked forward to being reunited with him. Frances McVay Russell Sprowles, Taylor Co., KY (1928-2017) Frances McVay Russell Sprowles was the daughter of the late Winslow Nelson McVay & Lula Pearl Holt McVay. She was born April 20, 1928 in Taylor County, KY. She died Saturday, October 7, 2017, in Campbellsville, Taylor County, KY, at the age of 89 years, five months, and 17 days.
