Frankie Parton, age 58, of Liberty, KY passed away on Sunday October 8, 2017 at the Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center, Danville, KY.

Visitation will be 5pm-8pmCT/6pm-9pmET, Wednesday October 11, 2017 and after 7amCT/ 8amET on Thursday October 12, 2017 at Bartle Funeral Home Chapel, 231 Lynn Street, Middleburg, KY. Funeral Services will be held 1pmCT/2pmET, Thursday October 12, 2017 at Bartle Funeral Home Chapel, 142 KY Hwy 49, Liberty, KY, with Bro. Johnny Maupin and Rev. Edward Parton officiating. Burial will be in the Willow Springs Cemetery.

He was born in Liberty, Casey County, KY on October 29, 1958, a son of the late Hershel & Gladys Richardson Parton. He died Sunday, October 8, 2017, in Danville, Boyle County, KY, at the age of 58 years, 11 months, and 21 days.

Survivors include:
  • Two sisters: Josephine and (Arlon) Perkins of Liberty, KY; and Maxine and (James Phillip) Wesley of Middleburg, KY

  • One brother: Jerry Lee Parton of Danville, KY
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, Paul Parton.
