Shirley Lee Parke, 60 Metcalfe County, KY (1957-2017) She was a member of a highly regarded Metcalfe County, KY, family. She was the daughter of Evie Pearl Hayes Parke & the late Donald Parke. She worked as a Registered Nurse for 30 plus years and was a member of the Missionary Mound Baptist Church, since the age of 15. Funeral services will be Wednesday, October 11, 2017, at 1pmCT, at Missionary Mound Baptist Church, KY 163/Tompkinsville Road, in the Good Luck Community of Metcalfe County, KY, with Bro. Dale Copas and Bro. Richard Lile officiating. Burial will follow in the Missionary Mound Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday, October 10, 2017, 2pm-9pmCT, at McMurtrey Funeral Home, 2232 Summer Shade Road, Summer Shade, KY, and on Wednesday, after 7amCT until 8:30amCT at the funeral home and after 9amCT, at Missionary Mound Baptist Church until time of services. She died Monday, October 9, 2017, at the age of 60 years, three monhts, and 19 days. She worked as a Registered Nurse for 30 plus years and was a member of the Missionary Mound Baptist Church, since the age of 15.
