Bobby Leon Pierce, Adair County, KY (1948-2017)

Bobby was a U.S. Army Veteran and will be accorded full military honors by Columbia Post 6097 at committal rites. He was a retired machinist and mechanic and of the Baptist faith. He was a member of a respected family. He was born in Adair County, KY. He was the son of the late John Homer & Ella Jessie Pierce. His wife, Teresa Seiber Pierce, survives. He leaves four direct living descendants.

Bobby Leon Pierce, 68, of Paris, TN, died Thursday, October 5, 2017 at 8:30pmCT, at his home.

Funeral service will be Sunday, October 8, 2017 at 1pmCT, at Grissom-Martin Funeral Home, 200 Campbellsville Street, Columbia, KY, with Bro. Ronnie Janes officiating. Burial will be in Barnes Cemetery in Breeding with full military honors presented by V.F.W. Post 6097. Visitation will be after 5pmCT, Saturday, October 7, 2017, at the funeral home.



Bobby Leon Pierce, Adair County, KY (1948-2017)

He was born Monday, November 22, 1948, in Adair County, KY. He was the son of the late John Homer & Ella Jessie Pierce. He died Thursday, October 5, 2017, in Paris, Henry County, TN, at the age of 68 years, 10 months, and 13 days.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three brothers; Raymond, Earl and Arnold Pierce and one sister; Annie Pearl Hammond.

Bobby was a U.S. Army Veteran, a retired Machinist and Mechanic and of the Baptist faith.

Survivors include:
  • His wife: Teresa Seiber Pierce of Paris, TN

  • One son: Chris Pierce of Lebanon, IN

  • One daughter: Karen Pierce-Jackson (Heather) of Little Rock, AR

  • One grandson: Lucas Jackson

  • Two sisters: Louise Merrell and Dorothy Cowan both of Columbia, KY
  • One brother: H.W. Pierce of Scottsville, KY
