KSP arrests South Carolina man on drug trafficking charges During the course of traffic stop, troopers allegedly located approximately 11 pounds of high grade marijuana, drug paraphernalia, and a large sum of cash inside the vehicle. Note: Charges/allegations are not a finding of guilt. An individual charged by law enforcement is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty at some later criminal proceeding. By Senior Trooper Jody Cash, Public Information Officer Kentucky State Police Post 1, Mayfield,KY EDDYVILLE, KY (Wed 4 Oct 2017) - On October 3, 2017 at approximately 1pmCT, Kentucky State Troopers assigned to the KSP Post 1 Interdiction Team stopped a passenger car near the 45 mile marker of Interstate 24 for a traffic violation. During the course of that traffic stop, troopers located approximately 11 pounds of high grade marijuana, drug paraphernalia, and a large sum of cash inside the vehicle. Also located inside the vehicle was a pill believed to be a Schedule 2 Controlled Substance. Timothy P. Corbin, Jr., age 22, of Chapin, SC, was arrested and charged with Careless Driving, Second Degree Possession of a Controlled Substance, Trafficking Marijuana, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. He was lodged in the Caldwell County Jail. The investigation is continuing by Master Trooper T.J. Williams.
