Earnesteen Bryson, 81, Glensfork, KY (1936-2017)

Earnesteen was of the Baptist faith and a server at Blue Boar Cafeteria in Louisville, KY for over 30 years. She was a member of a highly regarded Southeast Adair County, KY family. She was the daughter of the late Herbert & Bertha Grant Huddleston, of seven children born to them. With her passing, of sibling, Nadine Scott, survives.

Earnesteen Bryson, age 81, of the Glensfork Community of Adair County, KY, passed away Saturday, September 16, 2017 at 12:25amCT, at the Signature Health and Rehab at Summit Manor, Columbia, KY.

Funeral service will be Monday, September 18, 2017 at 11amCT, at Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home, 210 Greensburg Street, Columbia, KY, with Bro. Stanley Watson, the officiating clergy. Interment at Grant Cemetery in Glensfork, KY. Visitation will be 3:30pm-7pmCT, Sunday, September 17, 2017, at Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home.

She was born April 12, 1936. She was the daughter of the late Herbert & Bertha Grant Huddleston. She died Saturday, September 16, 2017, in Columbia, Adair County, KY, at the age of 81 years, five months, and four days.

She was the widow of Roscoe Bryson.

She was also preceded in death by two brothers; Ben and William Huddleston; and three sisters: Christine Andrews, Kathleen Powell and Maxine Dykes.

She is survived by:
  • One sister: Nadine Scott of Columbia, KY

  • Sister-in-law: Jewell Huddleston of Columbia, KY

  • Several nieces, nephews, and a host of other family and friends
