Gena Evelyn Parker, 53, of Russell Springs, KY, died Sunday, September 10, 2017 at her home.

Funeral service for Gena Evelyn Parker will be 1pmCT, Wednesday, September 13, 2017 at the Bernard Funeral Home Chapel, 367 N Main Street, Russell Springs, KY, with Bro. Billy Bennett officiating. Visitaton will be after 11amCT, Wednesday. Interment in the Square Oak Cemetery, Ono, Russell Springs, Ky. Special music will be by Emily Cravens and Taylor Cravens.

She was born February 25, 1964, in Russell County, KY. She was the daughter of the late Avis & Ruth Cain Bennett. She died Sunday, September 10, 2017, in Russell Springs, Russell County, KY, at the age of 53 years, six months, and 16 days.

Gena was a factory worker.

Survivors include:
  • Three children: Tara Parker, Russell Springs, KY; Tana Parker, Richmond, KY; and Kynna Stephens, Russell Springs, KY

  • Two grandchildren: Raya McIntosh, and Ayden Underwood

  • Two sisters: Rhonda (Kenny) Popplewell, Russell Springs, KY; and Norma (Larry) Lamica, Malone, New York

  • Four brothers: Sheldon (Mary) Bennett, Johnny (Tanna) Bennett, Adam (Chanessa) Bennett, Billy (Andrea) Bennett, all of Russell Springs, KY
