Lindy Luttrell Roy, 52, Casey County, KY, (1964-2017)

Lindy was a homemaker and a member of the South Fork Separate Baptist Church. She was a native of Dunnville, KY and a resident of the town at the time of her death. She was the daughter of the late Dennie E. Luttrell & Helen Stargle Luttrell. Her husband of 32 years, Trent Roy, survives. She leaves five direct living descendants. She loved spending time with her three grandchildren.

Lindy Luttrell Roy, of Dunnville, passed away on Friday, September 8, 2017, at her residence. She was 52.

Funeral services will be at 12pmNoonCT/1pmET, Sunday, September 10, 2017, at McKinney-Brown Funeral Home, 752 Campbellsville Street, Liberty, KY, with Bro. Troy Coffey and Bro. Mark Yaden officiating. Burial will follow in the Thomas Ridge Cemetery. Visitation will be 4pm-8pmCT/5pm-9pmET, on Saturday, September 9, 2017, at McKinney-Brown Funeral Home.



Pallbearers will be her nephews: Josh Patterson, Kyle Murphy, Travis and Jason Brown, Nicholas and Brian Roy, and Ryan Luttrell. Honorary pallbearers will be her grandchildren: Bentley, Landon, and Baylee Jo Roy.

Born November 17, 1964, in Casey Co., KY, she was a daughter of the late Dennie E. Luttrell & Helen Stargle Luttrell. She died Friday, September 8, 2017, in Dunnville, Casey County, KY, at the age of 52 years, nine months, and 22 days.

Lindy was a homemaker and a member of the South Fork Separate Baptist Church. She loved spending time with her three grandchildren.

Survivors include her husband of 32 years, whom she wed on January 19, 1985, Trent Roy of Dunnville, KY, and the following:
  • Two sons: John (and McKensy) Roy of Russell Springs, KY; and Chris (and Sarah) Roy of Dunnville, KY

  • Two brothers: Gerald (and Alice) Luttrell of Russell Springs, KY; and Frankie (and Tammy) Luttrell of Dunnville, KY

  • Five sisters: Cookie (and Mike) Brown of Russell Springs, KY; Lilly (and Allan) Patterson of Windsor, KY; Birbby (and Kenny) Murphy of Liberty, KY; Sally (and Joel) Pike of Somerset, KY; and Lucretia (and Matt) Jewell of Smith's Grove, KY

  • Three grandchildren: Bentley, Landon, and Baylee Jo.
