Ronnie Barnett, 69, Campbellsville, KY (1948-2017) Ronnie was a retired plant manager with the Campbellsville Water Company. He was well known for his love of music and both sang and played many different instruments. He had also played with several local bands in the community. Ronnie Barnett, 69, of Campbellsville died at 9:40amET, Tuesday, September 5, 2017 in Louisville, KY. Visitation will be from 10amCT until 3pmCT, Friday, September 8, 2017 at Parrott & Ramsey Funeral Home, 418 Lebanon Ave., Campbellsville, KY. The funeral service will be at 3pmET on Friday, September 8, 2017 at Parrott & Ramsey Funeral Home, officiated by Rev. Earl West. Burial will follow in Campbellsville Memorial Gardens. Ronnie Barnett, 69, Campbellsville, KY (1948-2017) Ronnie Barnett of Campbellsville, son of Dorothy VanDyke Barnett and the late Leslie Barnett, was born January 25, 1948 in Marion County, Kentucky. He died Tuesday, September 5, 2017 in Louisville, Jefferson County, KY at the age of 69 years, seven months, and 11 days. He professed faith in Christ and attended Liberty Cumberland Presbyterian Church. Ronnie was well known for his love of music and both sang and played many different instruments. He had also played with several local bands in the community. He was a retired plant manager with the Campbellsville Water Company. He united in marriage to Shirley Cox September 16, 1995. Besides his wife, Shirley Barnett, he is survived by one daughter: Cindy Swafford of Campbellsville; one step-daughter, Lisa McFall of Campbellsville; three grandchildren: Ryan Swafford, Emily Swafford and Elizabeth Swafford; two step-grandchildren: Aaron McFall and Amye McFall; one step-great-grandchild, Hailey Raine Graham; his mother, Dorothy Barnett, all of Campbellsville; one brother, Bob Hill and wife, Nancy of Alvaton; one niece, Annette Hill of Bowling Green and many other relatives and friends. Expressions of sympathy requested to be donations to Liberty Cumberland Presbyterian Church or Gideon Bibles and may be made at Parrott & Ramsey Funeral Home. Online condolences at parrottramsey.com.
