Zach Summers, 23, Campbellsville, KY/Boyle County native (1994-2017)

He was a native of Boyle County, KY, a former resident of Casey County, KY, and a resident of Campbellsville at the time of his death. He was a former Fire Fighter and EMT with Casey, Green and Taylor Counties. He also operated his own lawn mowing service for several years. Everyone who knew Zach would tell you how much he loved hunting and how big of a UK fan he was. Above all that was his love for his daughter, Hadley; she was his everything and what kept him fighting.

Zach Summers, 23, of Campbellsville, died at 8:15pmET,, Friday, September 1, 2017 in Campbellsville, KY.

Celebration of Life service for Zach Summers will be at 6pmCT/7pmET, Tuesday, September 5, 2017 at Parrott & Ramsey Funeral Home, 418 Lebanon Avenue, Campbellsville, KY, by Bro. Greg Whitlow. Visitation will be after 4pmCT/5pmET, Tuesday, September 5, 2017 at Parrott & Ramsey Funeral.



Zach Summers, 23, Campbellsville, KY/Boyle County native (1994-2017)

Zach Summers of Campbellsville, formerly of Casey County, was the son of Jayme Summers. He was born March 17, 1994 in Boyle County, KY. He died Friday, September 1, 2017 in Campbellsville, Taylor County, KY, at the age of 23 years, five months, and 15 days.

Zach was a former Fire Fighter and EMT with Casey, Green and Taylor Counties. He also operated his own lawn mowing service for several years.

Everyone who knew Zach would tell you how much he loved hunting and how big of a UK fan he was. Above all that was his love for Hadley; she was his everything and what kept him fighting.

He united in marriage to Alyssa Avery May 12, 2014

Besides his wife, Alyssa Summers, he is survived by:
  • One daughter: Hadley Summers of Campbellsville, KY

  • Father and step-mother, Jayme and Gloria Summers of Mannsville, KY

  • Two sisters and four brothers: Miranda Summers of Clementsville, KY; Faith Vaught, Ben Vaught of Moreland, KY; Zach Grider of Liberty, KY; Ronnie Summers of Clementsville, KY; and P.J. Summers of Mannsville, KY

  • Grandparents: Ronnie and Eileen Summers of Clementsville, KY

  • Two nieces: Remi Summers of Clementsville, KY; and Autumn Grider of Liberty, KY

  • Father-in-law and mother-in-law: Billy & Nicki Avery of Canmer

  • Lifelong friend: Mikey Luttrell of Liberty, KY

  • And all his family at Green County EMS.
He was preceded in death by a grandmother, Mary Rogers.
