She was a native of Germany, a former resident of Pelly, Adair County, KY, at the time of her death in Jamestown, KY. She was the daughter of the late Theodore & Marie Schneider Rode, and the widow of Helmut Kunz. She leaves one direct living descendant, a son, Frank (and Cheryl) Kunz of Cincinnati. She died Monday, August 21, 2017, in Jamestown, Russell County, KY, at the age of 91 years, six months, and 21 days. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Helmut Kunz, and a sister, Christa Rode. She was a member of Tabernacle Christian Church.
