By Greg Thomas

While working in Princeton, which is in Western Kentucky, during the eclipse I stepped out and snapped a picture building up to the eclipse about every fifteen minutes.

Princeton is less than twenty miles from the area in Christian County that NASA projected as the best viewing point.

Hopkinsville is less than twenty miles on the other side. While there the last couple days I had to pleasure of working at the Region Response Coordination Center, with different County Emergency Operation Centers, and hospitals in the regions.

The day before the eclipse I went out to the prime viewing area and NASA, the media, and others were already set up.

The Governor and Lt. Governor were at that location at one time today.

I went on up the road to the area where Sol Quest was taking place to look around. -- Greg Thomas
