James David (Jimmy) Wilson, 58, Taylor Co., KY (1958-2017)

He was a long time employee of the Kentucky Trailer Company in Louisville, KY, where he worked in the paintshop. Mr. Wilson was a family man; he enjoyed spending time with those he loved and making everyone smile. He was the son of David & Leora (Halcomb) Wilson, both of whom survive. He leaves three direct living descendants.

Mr. James David "Jimmy" Wilson of Campbellsville, KY, departed this life on Monday, August 14, 2017 at the Jewish Hospital in Louisville, KY.

There will be a funeral service to honor the life of Mr. Wilson on Thursday, August 17, 2017 at 10amCT/11amET, in the chapel of the L.R. Petty Funeral Home, 1765 New Columbia Road, Campbellsville, KY. Bro. Freddy Thompson will be officiating. Burial will follow in the Wilson Cemetery, Montgomery Mill Road, Summersville, KY. The family will receive friends at the funeral home 4pm-7pmCT/5pm-8pmET, Wednesday, August 16, 2017.

Mr. James David "Jimmy" Wilson of Campbellsville, KY, was born on November 19, 1958. He was the son of David & Leora (Halcomb) Wilson, who survive. He departed this life on Monday, August 14, 2017, in Louisville, Jefferson County, KY, at the age of 58 years, eight months, and 26 days.

He was a long time employee of the Kentucky Trailer Company in Louisville, KY, where he worked in the paintshop. Mr. Wilson was a family man; he enjoyed spending time with those he loved and making everyone smile.

He leaves to cherish his memory:
  • Three children: Troy Wilson of Greensburg, KY; and Nikki Wilson of and Heather Wilson, both of Campbellsville, KY

  • His parents: David and Leora Wilson of Campbellsville, KY

  • One sister and one brother: Kathy Clark and husband Barry, and Danny Wilson and wife Diane, all of Campbellsville, KY

  • And a host of extended family and friends
