Taylor County Grand Jury returns indictments Tue 1 Aug 2017
Indictments brought against 18 individuals from Campbellsville, Elkhorn, Springfield, and Buffalo, KY, on charges including assault, trafficking, possession, DUI, wanton endangerment, littering, burglary, and sexual abuse.

The Taylor County, KY Circuit Court grand jury, Campbellsville, KY, returned indictments against the following individuals on Tuesday, 1 August 2017:
- Jeffery Browning (11/18/1979), Pepper Rd., Campbellsville, KY Indictment No. 17-00123. Charged with 4 counts. Counts 1-2 - Assault, 2nd degree, domestic violence. Count 3 - Unlawful imprisonment, 1st degree. Count 4 - Intimidating a participant in the legal process. Bond set at $25,000/cash, no contact with victims.
- Joshua T. Kirkland (09/20/1978), Farmers Ridge Rd., Elkhorn, KY Indictment No. 17-CR-00124. Charged with 5 counts. Count 1 - Assault, 2nd degree. Count 2 - Trafficking in controlled substances, 1st degree, 1st offense, <2g heroin. Count 3 - Trafficking in controlled substance, 1st degree, 1st offense, <2g methamphetamine. Count 4 - Possession of controlled substance, 3rd degree, drug unspecified. Count 5 - Operating a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol/drugs/etc .08 aggravating circumstance, 1st offense. - Anna Mae Wheeler, AKA Anna Cox Wheeler (08/15/1970), Meader St., Campbellsville, KY Indictment No. 17-CR-00127. Charged with 1 count.
