He was a farmer. He was a native of Liberty, KY, and a resident of Danville, KY, at the time of his death. With his passing, one brother survives among his five siblings, James Garnett Peavley, of the six children born to his parents, the late Mike & Rena Wilson Peavley.

Eugene Peavley, age 77, of Danville, KY passed away on Saturday July 29, 2017 at the Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center, Danville, KY.

Funeral Services will be held 1pmCT/2pmET, Wednesday August 2, 2017 at Bartle Funeral Home Chapel, 142 KY Hwy 49, Liberty, KY, with Bro. Hershel Lawhorn officiating. Burial will be in the Jennies' Cemetery. Visitation will be held after 9:30amCT/10:30amET, Wednesday August 2, 2017 at Bartle Funeral Home Chapel.



Eugene Peavley, 77, Casey County, KY (1939-2017)


He was born in Liberty, Casey County, KY on August 22, 1939. He was a son of the late Mike & Rena Wilson Peavley. He died Saturday, July 29, 2017, in Danville, Boyle County, KY, at the age of 77 years, 11 months, and seven days.

He was a farmer.

Survivors include:
  • One brother: James Garnett Peavley of Hustonville, KY.
Preceding him in death besides his parents were three brothers, Noah, Oris and Paul Peavley and one sister, Bedie Derry.
