Funeral service will be Sunday, July 30, 2017 at 2pmCT, at Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home, 210 Greensburg Street, Columbia, KY, with Bro. Daniel Keaton, the officiating clergy. Interment will be in the Columbia Cemetery, 315 Campbellsville Street, Columbia, KY. Visitation will begin on Sunday morning at 8amCT, until the funeral hour, at the funeral home. Noel Lee (Red) Blankenship, 72, Adair County, KY (1944-2017) He was born near Glensfork, Adair County, KY on November 12, 1944. He was the son of the late Charles & Cordia Inez Thomas Blankenship. He died Friday, July 28, 2017, in Columbia, Adair County, KY, at the age of 72 years, eight months, and 16 day. Mr. Blankenship was preceded in death by his wife Anna Pearl Beaty Blankenship in 2001. He worked for the Kentucky Department of Highways for 27 years and retired in 1999. He was a farmer. He had recently professed his faith in Christ.
