Funeral service for Rev. Jesse R. Long will be 10amCT, Monday, July 17, 2017 at the Bernard Funeral Home Chapel, 367 N Main Street, Russell Springs, KY, with Bro. Rodney Smith and Bro. Clifton Cowan officiating. Visitation will be 4pm-8pmCT, Sunday, July 16, and and after 8amCT, Monday. Interment will be in the Gum Lick Cemetery, Clementsville, Casey County, KY. In addition to his parents, Jesse was preceded in death by his wife, Doris Jean Shepherd Long; four brothers, Marshall, Eddie, David & Vatis Long; four sisters, Geraldine Grant, Violet Adams, Vitus Long, and Kathleen Campbell.
