Funeral service for Rev. Jesse R. Long will be 10amCT, Monday, July 17, 2017 at the Bernard Funeral Home Chapel, 367 N Main Street, Russell Springs, KY, with Bro. Rodney Smith and Bro. Clifton Cowan officiating. Visitation will be 4pm-8pmCT, Sunday, July 16, and and after 8amCT, Monday. Interment will be in the Gum Lick Cemetery, Clementsville, Casey County, KY. He was a retired Separate Baptist Minister and a member of Walnut Hill Separate Baptist Church in Casey County. In addition to his parents, Jesse was preceded in death by his wife, Doris Jean Shepherd Long; four brothers, Marshall, Eddie, David & Vatis Long; four sisters, Geraldine Grant, Violet Adams, Vitus Long, and Kathleen Campbell.
