Lorene Caulk, Taylor Co., KY/Green Co., KY native (1932-2017) She was a member of Campbellsville Baptist Church. She was an entrepreneur, the former owner of Little People Daycare. She was a pioneer in education as a teacher's aid at the first kindergarten program in the Campbellsville Independent School District. In all, her career in childcare spanned over half a century. She was a member of a highly regarded Taylor County family. She was born New Year's Eve, 1932, She was the daughter of the late Thomas Close & Alice Hudgins Close of Green County, KY, and the widow of Bobby Caulk, her husband of over 59 years. Lorene Caulk, Taylor Co., KY/Green Co., KY native (1932-2017) Lorene Caulk was the daughter of the late Thomas Close & Alice Hudgins Close. She was born December 31, 1932, in Green County, KY. She died Friday, July 7, 2017 in Campbellsville, Taylor County, KY, at the age of 84 years, six months, and seven days. She professed faith in Christ and was a member of Campbellsville Baptist Church. Lorene was former owner of Little People Daycare. She was a teacher's aid at the first kindergarten program at Campbellsville Independent School and had worked as a childcare provider for over 50 years. She united in marriage to Bobby Caulk February 10, 1949. He preceded her in death June 28, 2008. She is survived by:
