James C. Daniel, 80, of Russell Springs, KY died Tuesday July 04, 2017 at T. J. Sampson, T. J. Sampson Hospital, Glasgow, KY.

Funeral services will be at 1pmCT, Sunday July 09, 2017 at Wilson Funeral Home Chapel, 391 East Steve Wariner Drive, Russell Springs, KY. Interment will be in the Union Cemetery, Highway 3525, Russell Springs, KY. Visitation will be 5pm-8pmCT, Saturday July 08, 2017 at the funeral home.

He was born on Saturday March 13, 1937 in Casey County, KY. He was the son of the late Odessa Daniel Tucker and Dutch Daniel. He died Tuesday, July 4, 2017, in Glasgow, Barren County, KY at the age of 80 years, three months, and 22 days.

He is survived by:
  • His wife: Ann Popplewell Daniel, Columbia, KY

  • One daughter: Pam Bennett, Russell Springs, KY

  • Two sons: Jeff Daniel, Russell Springs, KY; Jesse Daniel, Russell Springs, KY

  • One step-son: Ron Alexander, Columbia, KY

  • Three sisters: Brenda Sue Stephens, Columbia, KY; Katie Gadberry, Russell Springs, KY; and Joann Polston, Russell Springs, KY

  • A host of grandchildren and great grandchildren
