Fireworks show is July 4, 2017 at LWC/Fairgrounds

From Telephone Interview with Melinda Quinn, Treasurer, Adair Fiscal Court

The Fourth of July Fireworks show will be at the Lindsey Wilson/Fairgrounds, 413 Fairground Street, starting approximately just after sundown, approximately 8:05pmCT, Tuesday, July 4, 2017.

However, to get the best viewing and tailgating areas, crowds will be gathering in the Free Parking areas, as much as 1-2 hours early.

The public will have free parking, on a first come, first served basis, in three locations: In Lindsey Wilson parking areas, at Green River Window and Door, and at the Adair County Extension Office, 409 Fairground Street.

Under terms of the contract with the show providers, Casey Creek Pyrotechnics, no one will be allowed in the fairgrounds for parking or viewing, Quinn said.

Sponsors of the show are Lindsey Wilson College, Adair County Fiscal Court, the City of Columbia, the Bank of Columbia, and Community Trust Bank.
