By Ed Waggener The 2017 Adair County Fair will be one of the most unusual county fairs in the United States, a Progressive Fair with Rolling Venues, held on three different sites: 1) The Adair County UK Extension Office, 409 Fairground Street, Columbia, KY. 2) The Adair County High School FFA Building, 184 FFA Drive, Columbia, KY, on the Campus of the Adair County School District 3) The Pavilion in the old Adair County Fairground, and The schedule is a follows: 2017 Adair County Fair: Schedule of Events Thanks to some heroic efforts by the Adair County Fair Board, the fair's tradition continues uninterrupted. Using an innovative idea, which may even have advantages, the fair will be held three locations. 1) At the new Adair County Extension office, 409 Fairground Street, Columbia, KY. 2) At the Pavilion, in the old Fairgrounds, 413 Fairground Street, Columbia, KY. 3) On the campus of Adair County Schools, at ACHS FFA building, 184 FFA Drive, Columbia, KY. A location for amusement rides and a vendor is still being sought. One highly popular event, our Demolition Derby is still not set to happen.
