She was a native of Boston, MA, and a resident of Burkesville, KY, at the time of her death. She was the daughter of the late Harrick & Maise Moore Simpson and the widow of Geroge William "Bill" Berge. She leaves six direct living descendants.

Lois M. Berge age 84 of Burkesville, Kentucky passed away on Wednesday, June 21st, 2017 at Cumberland County Hospital.

The family has chosen cremation and there will be no public services. Ballou & Stotts Funeral Home, 304 N Main Street, Burkesville, KY is handling arrangements.

Lois was born on November 30, 1932 in Boston, MA. She was the daughter of the late Harrick & Maise Moore Simpson. She died Wednesday, June 21, 2017, in Burkesville, Cumberland County, KY, at the age of 84 years, six months and 21 days.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, George William "Bill" Berge, Jr.

Survivors include:

  • One son: Scott Stuart Berge of Burkesville, KY

  • One daughter: Laurie Anne Bryson of Ocala, FL

  • Two grandchildren: Susan Wilson and Kevin Bryson

  • Two great grandchildren: Emily Wilson and Julia Wilson
The family has chosen cremation and there will be no public services.
