Her husband, Greg Atwood, survives. She leaves two direct living descendants.

Jodi Adele Heselton Atwood, of Liberty, KY, passed away on Monday, June 19, 2017, in Danville, KY.

Cremation rites were honored by McKinney-Brown Funeral Home, 752 Campbellsville Street, Liberty, KY.



Jodi Adele Heselton Atwood, Casey Co., KY (1967-2017)


Born in Danville, Boyle County, KY, on October 19, 1967, she was a daughter of the late Robert & Alda Sharpe Heselton. She died Monday, June 19, 2017, in Danville, Boyle County, KY, at the age of 49 years, eight months.

Jodi was a Registered Nurse. She was of the Christian faith. Jodi enjoyed attending church and loved her dog.

She is survived by her husband, Greg Atwood of Liberty, KY, and the following:
  • Two sons, Gregory Warren Atwood of Liberty, KY; and Alexander (and Brandi Dean) of Ft. Stewart, GA

  • Three brothers, Michael (and Rhonda) Heselton of Carrollton, MO; Patrick Heselton of Danville, KY; and Tim (and Teresa) Heselton of Bryantsville, KY
In addition to her parents, Jodi is preceded in death by a brother, Douglas Heselton.

In lieu of flowers, contributions of sympathy may be made to the funeral home to assist the family with expenses.
