He professed faith in Christ and attended New Journey Church in Campbellsville. Mr. Gilbert tried to lead a life of example; not only did he believe in God, he loved talking to anyone about Him. He was an outdoorsman as well, and took pleasure in manual labor. Mr. Gilbert chose to be cremated, and those wishes were entrusted to the L.R. Petty Funeral Home and Cremation Service, , 1765 New Columbia Road, Campbellsville, KY, There will be a public memorial service announced and conducted at a later date. Harvey Junior (Yogie) Gilbert, Taylor Co., KY (1968-2017) Born on January 11, 1968, he was the son of the late Harvey Twillard and Elizabeth Mary (Wise) Gilbert. He died Sunday, June 18, 2017, in Campbellsville, Taylor County, KY, at the age of 49 years, five months, and seven days of age. Mr. Gilbert was a family man; his grandchildren were his pride and joy. He professed faith in Christ and attended New Journey Church in Campbellsville. Mr. Gilbert tried to lead a life of example; not only did he believe in God, he loved talking to anyone about Him. He was an outdoorsman as well, and took pleasure in manual labor.
