Louise S. Meadows, Russell Co., KY/Russell Co, native (1927-2017)

She was the daughter of the late Hugh H. and Dezza (Phelps) Smith and the widow of Karlus (Bo) Smith.. She was the matriarch of a respected Russell County, KY family. She leaves eight direct living descendants.

Louise S. Meadows, 89, of Jamestown, KY passed away on Tuesday, June 13, 2017, at the Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital, Somerset, KY.

Funeral Services for Louise Meadows will be at H.E. Pruitt Memory Chapel, 202 N Main Street, Jamestown, KY on Saturday June 17, 2017, at 11amCT. Friends may visit on Friday after 5pmCT, at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Jamestown Cemetery, 201 N. Main Street, Jamestown, KY.

She was born in Jamestown, KY. on November 30. 1927. She was a daughter of the late Hugh H. and Dezza (Phelps) Smith. She died Tuesday, June 13, 2017, in Somerset, Pulaski County, KY, at the age of 89 years, six months, and 14 days.

She is survived by:
  • Her daughter Henrietta (Ruben) Leveridge, of Jamestown, KY

  • Grandsons: Matthew (Elizabeth) Leveridge, of Jamestown, KY; and Jason Leveridge. of Albany, KY

  • Special niece: Connie (Kenny) Calhoun, of Frankfort, KYF

  • Five great grandchildren: Rheagan, Samuel, Benjamin, Ali and Chance.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Karlus (Bo) Meadows, brother James Hugh Smith, and sister Elizabeth Smith.
