Ruth Bell, 67, Adair County, KY (1950-2017)

She was a member of Gradyville Baptist Church and worked in the dietary department at Green Hill Manor in Greensburg, KY. She was a member of a respected Gradyville, Kentucky family. She was the daughter of the late Andy Clifton & Ada Richard Parson, and the widow of Billy Lee Bell. She leaves five direct living descendants.

Ruth Bell, 67, of Columbia, KY died Monday, June 05, 2017 at 4:15amCT, at T.J. Health Columbia Emergency Room, Columbia, KY.

Funeral service will be Thursday, June 8, 2017 at 1pmCT, at Grissom-Martin Funeral Home, 200 Campbellsville Street, Columbia, KY with Bro. Willard Parson officiating. Burial will follow in Columbia Cemetery, 315 Campbellsville Street, Columbia, KY. Visitation will be after 4pmCT, Wednesday, June 7, 2017, at the funeral home.

Ruth Bell, 67, Adair County, KY (1950-2017)

She was born February 23, 1950, in Adair County, KY. She was the daughter of the late Andy Clifton & Ada Richard Parson. She died Monday, June 05, 2017, in Columbia, Adair County, KY, at the age of 67 years, three months, and 19 days.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Billy Lee Bell on July 23, 2002; two sons, Eugene & Ricky Bell; two brothers, Carl & Leroy Parson; and one sister-in-law, Stella Parson.

She was a member of Gradyville Baptist Church and worked in the dietary department at Green Hill Manor in Greensburg, KY.

Survivors include:
  • One son: Sam (Leigh Ann) Bell of Columbia, KY

  • One daughter: Lizzie Bell of Columbia, KY

  • Four brothers: Vernon (Sharon), Clell (Pauline), Willard (Shelia) and Steve (Tina) Parson, all of Columbia, KY

  • Three grandchildren: Stephanie, Curtis and Billy Bell

  • Several other relatives and friends
