KY 379 in Russell Co. to be closed 5.5 hours Tue 6 Jun 2017 Closure for cross drain replacement. Detours on Hale's Hwy will be set up utilizing KY 619 and KY 832. Closure expected to last 5.5 hours. Date and times may be adjusted for inclement weather. By Amber Hale, Public Information Officer Kentucky Transportation Cabinet, District 8, Somerset, KY SOMERSET, KY (Mon 5 Jun 2017) - The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet will temporarily close KY 379 (Hale's Hwy) in Russell County beginning at mile point 12.8 (KY 619/KY 3281) and ending at mile point 14 (KY 832) tomorrow, Tuesday, June 6, 2017, beginning at approximately 7:30amCT. The road will be reopened at approximately 1pmCT. The closure is necessary for crews to replace a cross drain beneath the roadway. Traffic will be controlled by flaggers and will be detoured via KY 832 and KY 619. The starting date and duration of work may be adjusted for inclement weather or other unforeseeable delays.
