Bessie Louise Johnson of Liberty, KY, passed away Friday, June 2, 2017 at the Liberty Care Center. She was 76 years of age.

Funeral Services are at 1pmCT/2pmET, Tuesday, June 6, 2017 at McKinney-Brown Funeral Home, 752 Campbellsville Street, Liberty, KY, with Bro. Marshall Malone and Bro. Garry Allen officiating. Burial will follow in the Caney Fork Cemetery. Visitation will start at 10amCT/11amET, Tuesday, and continue until service time at the funeral home.

Born July 17, 1940, in Casey County, KY, she was the daughter of the late William Levi & Vera Elizabeth Stafford Johnson. She died Friday, June 2, 2017, in Liberty, Casey County, KY, at the age of 76 years, 10 months, and 20 days.

She was a caretaker and a homemaker. Louise was a member of Liberty First Church of God. She enjoyed playing music, singing, writing and was a joy to be around.

Survivors include:
  • One sister: Pauline (Reverend Coy) Rigney of Liberty, KY
In addition to her parents, Louise was preceded in death by two brothers, Edgar and Glen William Johnson; and one sister, Helen Griffin.
