Congressman Jamie Comer's Columbia Town Hall forum well attended

By Linda Waggener

U.S. Representative James 'Jamie' Comer met the half-way mark in his goal to hold Town Hall forums in every one of his 35 counties in the First District this calendar year at his Adair County Town Hall forum, Tuesday, May 30, 2017.

The event held at the Adair County Judicial Center in the upstairs court room held a large crowd, with those in attendance from Adair and several other nearby counties.

Kentucky's First District's 35 Counties extends from Monkey's Eyebrow, which can be accessed by land only by going through Tennessee, to Marion County and Washington County on the east.

Questions and discussion centered around the issues of farming, health care, environmental concerns, and specifically getting help with the poison Hemlock weed which is growing rapidly across the area.
