Winston was a member of Free Union Separate Baptist Church where he served as a deacon for several years and was a farmer. He enjoyed serving the Lord and being with his family and friends.

Winston Hadley, 72, of Mt. Pleasant, SC formerly of the Adair Co. KY passed away Thursday, May 18, 2017 at the Roper St. Francis Hospital in Charlestown, SC.

Funeral services will be Tuesday, May 23, 2017 at 1pmCT, at the Free Union Separate Baptist Church, 4642 Sano Road, Columbia, KY, with Bro. Scott Hadley and Bro. Dustin McGowan the officiating clergy. Interment in the Free Union Cemetery The family requests visitation after 4pmCT, on Monday, May 22, 2017, at Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home, 210 Greensburg Street, Columbia, KY. Visiting on Tuesday, 6am-10amCT, at Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home and after 11amCT, Tuesday until the funeral hour at Free Union Separate Baptist Church.



Winston Hadley, 72, Mt. Pleasant, NC/Adair Co., KY native (1945-2017)

He was born March 29, 1945. He was the son of the late Walter and Martha Bryant Hadley. He died Thursday, May 18, 2017, in Charlestown, SC, at the age of 72 years, one month, and 19 days.

He was also preceded in death by three brothers, Ronnie Hadley, Terry Hadley and Wendell Hadley.

He is survived by his wife, Judy Dial Hadley, of Mt. Pleasant, SC, and the following:
  • Three sons: Scott Hadley & wife Sandra of Russell Springs, KY; Shawn Hadley & David McGuire of Simpsonville, KY; and Eric Hadley & Jeremy Hadley of Mt. Pleasant, SC

  • One brother: Kermit Hadley of Columbia, KY

  • Four sisters: Geraldine Baldwin of Russell Springs, KY; Carol Young of Shepherdsville, KY; Willowdene Gurnow of Shepherdsville, KY; and Connie Smith of Milltown, KY

  • Four grandchildren: Emily Hadley, Nicholas (Hannah) Hadley, Edie Hadley, and Martha Hadley
Winston was a member of Free Union Separate Baptist Church where he served as a deacon for several years and was a farmer. He enjoyed serving the Lord and being with his family and friends.
