Collis G. Stephens, 77, of Jamestown, KY, died Friday, May 19, 2017 at his home.

Funeral service for Collis G. Stephens will be 11amCT, Monday, May 22, 2017 at the Bernard Ridge Church of God, 170 Stephens Ridge Road, Russell Springs, KY, with Bro. Lindsey Cornett and Bro. Scott Proctor officiating. Visitation, 6pm-8pmCT, Sunday, May 22, 2017, at the church and after 8amCT, Monday. Interment will follow in the Bernard Cemetery. Special music will be by Donna Willis. Active Pallbearers: Ronnie Whittle, Greg Bennett, Charles Hale, Brently Anderson Wayne Radford, Jeremy Radford. Honorary pallbearers: Conner Hale, Jace Anderson, and Grady Anderson.

He was born January 29, 1940 in Russell County, KY. He was the son of the late Alvin & Retha Stephens. He died Friday, May 19, 2017, in Jamestown, Russell County, KY, at the age of 77 years. three months, and 20 days. v

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters, Irene Youngblood, and Anna Stephens; and six brothers; Curtis, Getha, Bobby, Jimmy, Ralph, and Billy Stephens

Survivors are:
  • Wife: Geraldine Bunch Stephens, Jamestown, KY

  • Two daughters: Lisa (Ronnie) Whittle, Russell Springs, KY; and Sherry (Greg) Bennett, Russell Springs, KY

  • Two grandchildren: Amber (Charles) Hale, and Taylor (Brently) Anderson

  • Three great grandchildren: Conner Hale, Jace Anderson, and Grady Anderson

  • Two sisters: Gladys Simpson, and Sharon Coffey, both of Russell Springs, KY

  • Three ] brothers: Verlon "Bird" Stephens, Anderson, IN; Elbert Stephens, Russell Springs, KY; and Hollis C. (Kay) Stephens, Russell Springs, KY
