STORY/DETAILS From Vicky Pike, Member, Adair County Solid Waste Advisory Board There have been as many as 60 trucks in line to take advantage of Free Tipping today, but the pace may be even more than twice as fast. Most of today's transports are smaller vehicles, and as many as three at a time can back in the transfer station shed and unload. Help is being provided to assist in offloading, bring the average time down to 2- minutes per load. Doug Riley, Midwest's Transfer station manager said all vehicles in line and inside the gate at 12pmNoonCT, will be allowed to unload.
