Geneva Bledsoe, 81, of Greensburg, died Sunday, May 7, 2017 at 3pmCT, at Signature Health Care at Summit Manor, KY.

Funeral service will beWednesday, May 10, 2017 at 11amCT at Grissom-Martin Funeral Home, 200 Campbellsville Street, Columbia, KY, with Bro. Jimmy Bunch & Bro. Dewayne Lobb officiating. Burial will follow in Haven Hill Cemetery, 1276 Liberty Road, Columbia, KY. Visitation will be after 4pmCT, Tuesday, May 9, 2017, at the funeral home.

She was born February 24, 1936, in Adair County, KY. She was the daughter of the late Welby and Lettie Collins. She died Sunday, May 7, 2017, in Columbia, Adair County, KY, at the age of 81 years, two months, and 13 days.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one great-grandchild.

She was a former employee of Fruit of the Loom where she retired after 31 years of service.

Survivors include:

  • One son: John David Bledsoe of Russell Springs, KY

  • Four daughters: Cathy & Larry Turner of Fairplay, KY; Barbara & Jimmy Bunch of Columbia, KY; Karen Bledsoe & Tammy & David Bryant, all of Greensburg, KY

  • One brother: Bobby (Iva Dean) Collins of Glensfork, KY

  • Eight grandchildren

  • One step-grandchild<

  • Sixteen great-grandchildren

  • Seven step-great-grandchildren

  • Six step-great-great-grandchildren

  • One niece

  • One nephew

  • Two great-nieces

  • Two great-nephews

  • Two great-great-nephews
