Funeral service for Dewitt Lee Davis will be 12pmNoonCT, Monday May 8, 2017 at the Bernard Funeral Home Chapel, 367 N Main Street, Russell Springs, KY, with Bro. Kenny Spaw and Bro. O'Neal Wade officiating. Interment will be in the Mill Springs National Cemetery, 9044 KY-80, Nancy, KY. Visitation will be 5pm-8pmCT, Sunday, May 7, 2017, and 8am-12pmNoonCT, Monday.

Active Pallbearers: Michael Allen Davis, Jason Davis, Ziah Owens Tim Owens, Michael Loy, and Dennis Davis.

Honorary Pallbearers: Dakota Davis, Blake Davis, Mason Davis, and Braydon Loy.

He was born Tuesday, December 2, 1947 in Pulaski County, KY. He as the son of the late Dewey & Fannie Bradley Davis. He died Thursday, May 4, 2017, in Russell Springs, Russell County, KY, at the age of 69 years, five months, and two days.

He was a Veteran of US Marine Corps, a farmer, and a member of Bethany Church of Christ.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three brothers, Doyle Davis, Dan Davis, and Robert Davis; and a sister, Elsie Davis.

Survivors are as follows:
  • His wife: Eva Marie Davis, Russell Springs, KY

  • Daughter: Pennie Owens, Russell Springs, KY

  • Son: Dion (Amanda) Davis, Russell Springs, KY

  • Six grandchildren: Chelsey Loy, Brittany Phelps, Ziah Owens, Dakota Davis, Blake Davis, and Mason Davis

  • Two great grandchildren: Jalyn Meece, and Braydon Loy

  • One sister: Edna Elliott, Windsor, KY

  • One brother: Harvey Davis, Indiana

  • A host of nieces & nephews
