He was a member of a prominent Casey County, KY family. He was the son of Carol Roy Meece and the late Carl Meece. He leaves four direct living descendants. Burial will follow in the Cedar Springs Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4pm-8pmCT/5pm-9pmCT, on Wednesday, May 3, 2017, at McKinney-Brown Funeral Home. Pallbearers will be Rance Baird, Danny Burton, Joe Emerson, Ronnie Luttrell, Tommy Luttrell, and Branden Phillippe.
