Autopsy in inmate death indicates only self-inflicted wounds (Update) Kentucky State Police Investigating Inmate Death Next earlier article, this story: Kentucky State Police investigating inmate death By TPR Jody Cash, Public Information Officer Kentucky State Police Post 1, Mayfield, KY EDDYVILLE, KY (26 Apr 2017) – An autopsy was performed today at the Kentucky Medical Examiner’s Office in Madisonville. The only signs of trauma appear to have been self-inflicted. Blood tests are still pending. An official determination of cause of death will be made after blood test results return. The investigation is continuing by Detective Cory Hamby. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Kentucky State Police Post 1 at 270-856-3721 or anonymously at 1-800-222-5555. Citizens may also report tips anonymously through the KSP app. The app is available for iPhone, iPad and Android applications and can be easily downloaded free of charge through Apple and Google Play stores.
