She was the matriarch of an old line, respected South Central Kentucky family, the daughter of the late Will Spurling & Rhoda Wade Spurling and the widow of Willie Welbron Hunt. She leaves a large number of direct living descendants, including nine children, 25 grandchildren, and numerous great and great-great grandchildren.
