Billy Joe Allen, 70, of Russell Springs, KY, died Wednesday, April 26, 2017 at the Russell County Hospital, Russell Springs, KY.

Graveside service for Billy Joe Allen will be 1pmCT, Saturday, April 29, 2017 at the Russell Springs City Cemetery, Lakeway Drive, Russell Springs, KY, with Bro. Ron Davis officiating. Full military honors will be rendered by the Russell County Honor Guard at committal rites.



Billy Joe Allen, 70, Russell County, KY (1946-2017)


He was born September 22, 1946 in Louisville, Jefferson County, KY. He was the son of the late Paul & Edith Black Allen. He died Wednesday, April 26, 2017, in Russell Springs, Russell County, KY, at the age of 70 years, seven months, and four days.

He was a Veteran of US Air Force.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded inn death by a daughter, Dana Allen.

Survivors are:
  • One son: Scott (Angela) Allen, Russell Springs, KY

  • Two grandchildren: Caleb Allen, Lauren Higginbotham, both of Russell Springs, KY

  • Two great grandchildren: Treyt Higginbotham and Jaxen Lusk

  • One brother: James (Evelyn) Allen, Kokomo, IN
