Joe David Acree, 68, of Russell Springs, died Tuesday, April 25, 2017 at the Fair Oaks Nursing Home in Jamestown, KY.

Funeral service for Joe David Acree will be 1pmCT, Friday, April 28, 2017 at the Bernard Funeral Home Chapel, 367 N Main Street, Russell Springs, KYm, with Bro. David Coffey officiating. Visitation will be 11am-1pmCT, Friday, at the funeral home., Interment will be in the White's Chapel Cemetery.



Pallbearers: Mark Acree, Roger York, Barry Stephens, Brandon York Brian Atchley, Shawn Atchley, and Nathan Acree.

He was born March 8, 1949, in Somerset, Pulaski County, KY. He was the son of the late Mont & Ruby Burton Acree. He died Tuesdaym April 25, 2017, in Jamestown, Russell County, KY, at the age of 68 years, one month, and 17 days. He was a farmer and attended White's Chapel Separate Baptist Church.

Survivors include:
  • His wife: Bonnie Edmonds Acree, Russell Springs, KY

  • Two brothers: Jimmy (Delores) Acree, Jeff (Paulette) Acree, both of Russell Springs, KY

  • Three sisters: Peggy (Dale) Whitaker of Tennessee, Phyllis (Paul David) Babak of Indiana; and Paulette Acree of Tennessee.
