Troy Strange age 47 of Columbia, KY, passed away Friday April 21, 2017 at 7:57pmCT, at his home after a long illness.

Funeral service will be Monday, April 24, 2017 at 1pmCT at Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home, 210 Greensburg Street, Columbia, KY. Clergy officiating will be Bro. Gary Tucker and Bro. Troy Long. Interment in the Haven Hill Cemetery, 1276 Liberty Road, Columbia, KY. Visitation will be Sunday, April 23, 2017, after 3pmCT, at Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home.



Troy Strange, 47, Adair County, KY/Hardin County native (1969-2017)


He was born on August 20, 1969 in Hardin County, KY. He was the son of Bobby & Dorothy Herron Strange of Columbia, KY, who survive. He died Friday, April 21, 2017, at his home in Columbia, Adair County, KY, at the age of 47 years, eight months, and one day.

Besides his parents he is survived by:
  • His wife: Tonia Strange of Columbia, KY

  • Two sons: Trey Strange and Tanner Strange of Columbia, KY.

  • One daughter: Taylor Strange of Columbia, KY

  • Two brothers: Mark Bright and his wife Norma, of Columbia, KY; and Brian Strange and his wife Tamera of Columbia, KY

  • Special father-in-law & mother-in-law: Bobby Dale & Marilyn Sneed of Columbia, KY

  • Special cousin: Eric Feese and many other special cousins

  • Brother-in-law: Mike Sneed and his wife Karen of Columbia, KY

  • Several nieces, nephews, a host of other family & friends
