Ivan (Bootie) Bault, Taylor Co./Adair Co., KY native (1939-2017)

He professed faith in Christ and was a very active member of Robinson Creek Baptist Church. He was a retired knitting room employee at Fruit of the Loom in Campbellsville, KY. He loved pitching horseshoes and helped develop the horseshoe pits at Miller Park so that tournaments could be held there. He was also a member of the KY Horseshoe Pitchers Association for many years. He enjoyed watching his grandchildren and great-grandchildren play sports at the local parks.

Ivan "Bootie" Bault, 78, of Campbellsville, KYm died at 1:04pmET, Monday, March 27, 2017 in Louisville, KY.

The funeral service will be at 12pmNoonCT/1pmET, Thursday, March 30, 2017 at Parrott & Ramsey Funeral Home, 418 Lebanon Avenue, Campbellsville, KY, by Rev. Jim Collison. Burial will be in Campbellsville Memorial Gardens, 700 Old U.S. 68, Campbellsville, KY. Visitation will be 4pm-7pmCT/5pm-8pmET, Wednesday, March 29, 2017 at Parrott & Ramsey Funeral Home



Ivan "Bootie" Bault, Taylor Co./Adair Co., KY native (1939-2017)


Ivan "Bootie" Bault, the son of the late Wilbur Bault and Ivern Williams Bault, was born on February 14, 1939, in Adair County, KY. He died Monday, March 27, 2017 in Louisville, Jefferson County, KY, at the age of 78 years, one month, and 13 days.

He professed faith in Christ and was a very active member of Robinson Creek Baptist Church.

He was a retired knitting room employee at Fruit of the Loom in Campbellsville, KY.

Ivan loved pitching horseshoes and helped develop the horseshoe pits at Miller Park so that tournaments could be held there. He was also a member of the KY Horseshoe Pitchers Association for many years.

Another past time he enjoyed was watching his grandchildren and great-grandchildren play sports at the local parks.

Ivan is survived by:
  • One daughter and son-in-law: Janet and Terry Roberts of Campbellsville, KY

  • Three grandchildren: Holly Dudgeon and husband, Ryan; and Patrick Greer and companion, Destiny Cox; and Megan Roberts, all of Campbellsville, KY
  • <
  • Three great-grandchildren: Lily Dudgeon, Creed Dudgeon and Eden Dudgeon

  • One brother and two sisters: Wayne Bault and wife, Brenda; Sharon Ford and husband, Raymond; and Mildred Gray, all of Campbellsville, KY

  • Several nieces and nephews

  • And many other relatives and friends.
He was also preceded in death by the mother of his daughter, Joyce Gray Bault.
