Brenda Ann Crew Wethington, 51, Taylor Co., KY (1965-2017)

She had made a profession of faith in Christ and was of the Baptist Faith. She was a former Certified Nursing Assistant and a homemaker. Brenda enjoyed swimming, playing games of horseshoe, music and nature, but best of all playing and spending time with her grandchildren. She was the daughter of the late Adrian Crew Crew and Helen Hall Crew, who survives. She leaves 13 direct living descendants.

Brenda Ann Crew Wethington, Campbellsville, KY, formerly of Russell County, KY, departed this life on Friday in Campbellsville.

The funeral service for Brenda Ann Crew Wethington will be conducted Tuesday, March 28, 2017 at 12pmCT/1pmET, in the chapel of the L.R. Petty Funeral Home, 1765 New Columbia Road, Campbellsville, KY, with burial to follow in the Fair Cemetery in Liberty, KY. Visitation will be after 9amCT/10amET, Tuesday, March 28, 2017, at the funeral home.

Brenda Ann Crew Wethington, the daughter of Adrian Crew of Russell Springs, KY, & the late Helen Hall Crew, was born Saturday, October 2, 1965 in Russell County, KY, and departed this life on Friday, March 24, 2017, in Campbellsville, Taylor County, KY. She was 51 years, five months and 22 days of age.

She had made a profession of faith in Christ and was of the Baptist Faith. She was a former Certified Nursing Assistant and a homemaker.

Brenda enjoyed swimming, playing games of horseshoe, music and nature, but best of all playing and spending time with her grandchildren.

Besides her father, she is survived by:
  • Four daughters: Casey Douglas, Korey Hines, Latasha Walker and Adrian Lee Crew all of Campbellsville, KY; and Sunshine Statham of Casey County, KY

  • Six brothers and sisters: Rita Hale, James Robert Hale and wife Kay, Vicky Wade, William Hale and Sue Hale all of Casey County, KY; and Holly Price and husband Bobby of Dunnville, KY

  • Her companion: Wayne Mikel of Campbellsville, KY

  • Nine grandchildren

  • And a host of other relatives and friends
