Valerie Diane Evans, 68, Casey Co., KY (1948-2017)

She was a former factory worker for Winn Packaging and Gensco. She was the daughter of Opal Daniel Lynn, who survives, and the late Herbert H. Lynn. She was the widow of Richard Anthony Evans, who preceded her in death just 31 days ago. She leaves three direct living descendants.

Valerie Diane Evans, age 68, of Liberty, KY passed away on Monday March 13th, 2017 at the Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center in Danville, KY

Funeral Services will be held 1pmCT/2pmET, Sunday March 19, 2017 at Bartle Funeral Home Chapel, 142 KY Hwy 49, Liberty, KY, Rev. Jimmy Brown officiating. Burial will be in the Glenwood Cemetery. Visitation will be held 5pm-8pmCT/6pm-9pmET, Saturday March 18, 2017 and after 8amCT/9amET, on Sunday March 19, 2017, at Bartle Funeral Home Chapel.

She was born in Liberty, KY on April 2, 1948. She was a daughter of Opal Daniel Lynn of Liberty, KY, and the late Herbert H. Lynn. She died Monday, March 13, 2017, in Danville, Boyle County, KY, at the age of 68 years, 11 months, and 11 days.

She was a former factory worker for Winn Packaging and Gensco.

She was the widow of Richard Anthony Evans who passed away on February 10, 2017.

Survivors in addition to her mother include:
  • One daughter: Jennifer and (Tim) Bastin of Liberty, KY

  • Two grandchildren: Natalie and Daniel Bastin both of Liberty, KY

  • One sister: Connie and (Rex) Emerson of Oxford, OH
  • One brother: Richard Lynn of Liberty, KY
Preceding her in death besides her father and spouse was one daughter, Natasha Walls.
