Burnice Louise (Mama E.) Parker, 90, Taylor Co., KY (1927-2017) Mama E had worked as a nursing assistant at Rosary Hospital as well as for Dr. Mann's office. During her spare time, you would find her sewing, cooking, canning, quilting or dancing. She was such a joy to be around as she had a contagious laugh that made everyone smile. At the time of her death she was of the Baptist faith and was a member of Pleasant Union Baptist Church. Funeral services will be held at 11amCT/12pmNoonET, Tuesday, March 14 at Pleasant Union Baptist Church in Campbellsville, KY, with burial in Pleasant Union Baptist Church Cemetery. Casket bearers for Mama E are Billy Gene Mitchell, Hollis Bridgewater, Sapp Johnson, Kelvin Mills, Lee Allen Bridgewater, Jansen Shively, Seneca Edwards and Anthony Spurling. The family request visitation from 9amCT/10amET until time for the service on Tuesday, March 14, 2017, at Pleasant Union Baptist Church. Burnice Louise (Mama E.) Parker, Taylor Co., KY (1927-2017) Mama E. was born on January 13, 1927 in Campbellsville, KY. She was the daughter of the late Clarence Milton & Clady White Vaughn. She died Sunday, March 5, 2017, in Campbellsville, Taylor County, KY, at the age of 90 years, one month, and 20 days. For over 50 years she shared her life with the man she married in 1946, Spencer Samuel Parker who preceded her in death on June 17, 1996. Also, preceding her in death were her daughters, Martha Parker Visor and Joyce Ann Parker as well as her brothers and sisters, Hollis D. Vaughn, James E. Vaughn, Maurice S. Vaughn, Clarence Milton Vaughn, Jr., Eleanor Miller and Eula Wray Shively. Mama E had worked as a nursing assistant at Rosary Hospital as well as for Dr. Mann's office. During her spare time, you would find her sewing, cooking, canning, quilting or dancing. She was such a joy to be around as she had a contagious laugh that made everyone smile.
