Gov. Bevin: Read Across America Day

FRANKFORT, KY (1 Mar 2017) – Gov. Matt Bevin invited elementary school classrooms across the Commonwealth to tune in Thursday, March 2, 2017, as he reads aloud from Dr. Seuss’ renowned childrens book Oh, the Places You’ll Go, during "Read Across America Day." "Read Across America Day," sponsored by the National Education Association (NEA), is an annual awareness and motivation campaign that encourages every child in America to celebrate reading on March 2—the birthday of beloved author Dr. Seuss.
